This photo was taken at a friends studio as we were working on a maternity shoot together. The shadow is crazy cool, and I love how the light enhances the subect's shape.

This is Stacy. Mom of three. I am always refreshed when I see her with her kids because even when they are crying she refers to them as her blassing baby's. Truly gifts from God.

I had been day dreaming about this session every time I drove past this fountain in downtown Minneapolis. My friends Christine & Troy, who are professional ballroom dancers, modeled for me. I am a huge fan of the artistic silhouette.

God is good.

I did these photos for a book design years ago. One thing I think is cool about them is that they look like they could have been taken anywhere, but they were taken in my front yard with the help of two friends. There is a verse from the Bible that I always think of in relation to these photos.

"What shall I render to the LORD for all His benefits toward me? I shall lift up the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the LORD. "
